The Associated Students of the University of Oregon (ASUO),
has refused to apologize for an obscene anti-Christian assault in the campus newspaper Insurgent.

The March edition of the Insurgent ran one of the strongest attacks on Christianity that the American Family Association has ever seen.

The paper ran graphics depicting Jesus as a homosexual.
One was a depiction of a naked Jesus on the cross with an erection; the other, titled Resurrection,
showed a naked Jesus kissing another naked man, both sporting erections.

When asked for an apology by Students of Faith,

There is strength in numbers!
I'm happy to report Wrigley's did not sponsor last week's episode of The Bedford Diaries.
I believe this is a direct result of everyone's caring enough to get involved and e-mailing the advertisers.

This week, Big Lots was an advertising sponsor of the WB's The Bedford Diaries.

The plot of The Bedford Diaries focuses primarily on the sex lives of college students as part of a Human Behavior and Sexuality class.

In fact, the program contains so much sexual material, our reviewers have given up trying to document each scene.

A liberal activist judge has ordered the city of San Diego to remove a cross from Mt. Soledad or be fined $5000 a day.
Judge Gordon Thompson, Jr., ordered the cross removed because, he said, it violated the separation of church and state.

One atheist had complained about the cross in a battle that has been going on for years.
For over 50 years the site has been recognized by the public as a place where war veterans are recognized for their service to America.

Most of the veterans recognized are from the greater San Diego area. Last summer 76 percent of the city's voters... (more)

This message is from Don E. Wildmon, the founder of AFA [American Families Association.]
I recently filled up my car with gas. The price? Nearly $50.
This $3 a gallon gas (some say it will soon hit $4 a gallon) is having a very negative effect on our family pocketbooks.

Individually, we can't do much about this situation,
but if enough of us stick together and work together, we can help bring down the price of gas.

We urge you to join our "3% Solution" project.
We are asking each person to reduce their consumption of gas by at least 3%. If demand goes down, so does the price... (more)

On February 16, 2005, the Broadcast Indecency Enforcement Act was introduced as H.R.310 and sailed through the House, 389-38.
This bill raises fines against broadcasters when they violate the indecency laws.

Since then Senator Ted Stevens (R-AK), chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, has held three sets of hearings.

Family and consumer groups have been shortchanged in these hearings, which have resulted in no action.
Senator Stevens has held this bill hostage for over 14 months.
During the last hearing, Senator Stevens actually loaded the... (more)

Ask yourself every time you plan to use your car, truck, SUV, or van,
"Is this trip really necessary?"
Every mile you drive your vehicle will cost you at least an average of 36 cents.
If the trip is not necessary, think twice before using your vehicle.
Drive at a conservative speed on the highway. According to the U.S. Department of Energy,
most automobiles get about 20 percent more miles per gallon on the highway at 55 miles per hour than they do at 70 miles per hour.

Decrease the number of short trips you make. Short trips drastically reduce gas mileage.
